$200m are predicted for ONE APUS stack failure losses

Shippers and freight forwarders with shipments on board the ONE Apus have been notified about an enormous accident.
On November 30th the container ship ONE Apus, en route from Japan to Long Beach, experienced an accident with a large stack of containers, pointing to the sort of problem that is to be covered by exporters and importers.
The carrier reported that during a Pacific storm near Hawaii, 14,000 teu vessels lost 1,816 boxes. It is expected to be the largest loss overboard.  Nearly 1,400 containers are estimated to be destroyed across the board annually.
