Online voting opens for the Port of the Future 2021 Award
| Today, WOF Expo is officially launching voting across the industry in order to celebrate the incredible achievements and the latest developments in the logistic sector. There are 9 WOF awards, for which winners are determined by voter preferences: “Port of the future” , “Air Cargo Excellence” , “Smart Freight Forwarder”, ”Last Mile Expert”, ”Green Impact”, ”Start Up Hero”, ”Innovation of the Year”, ”Shipping Line Efficiency”, ”Speedy Flow Airport”. The winners will be honored at the Gala awards ceremony on the 7th of October 2021 at the Incheba Expo, Bratislava where they will have the opportunity to communicate their accomplishments and position themselves as leading players on an international platform. It is about time to unveil the absolute finalists for the Port of the Future Award 2021! The award represents the most advanced seaport in the region and promotes Europe´s best ports to consumers and the trade across the globe. New technologies evolve with an immense speed, ports are accelerating the digitization process and developing strategies to improve sustainability, which is also a crucial aspect of the development of cities. “Port of the Future award” gives ports the opportunity to show the world the advances they are making and how they contribute to better development of their regions. It’s not only about cargo volume as a key performance indicator, each finalist has been selected for outstanding logistics performance with ground-breaking innovations, push for sustainability, and efficiency.
