Qatar Cargo transports wild animals back to their natural environment
| The initiative is called Rewild the Planet and is part of Qatar´s sustainability initiative WeQare. There are 2 chapters of WeQare, first, launched last year and was about donating to humanitarian organizations and the second one is about preserving wildlife and endangered species. The purpose of the Rewild the Planet initiative is to return rescued animals to their natural habitat, to where they belong, for free. Earlier this month, Qatar Airways Cargo transported seven lions to nature reserves in South Africa as part of this initiative. The lions were then transported to the nature reserves in South Africa where they were able to walk on grass for the first time. Read more here👇👇👇 |
