Buoyant Maersk sets aside up to $5.5bn for acquisitions

It was a record fourth quarter for Mærsk. Company doubled its 2020 profits with a significant earnings earmarked for acquisitions. Thanks to which, Maersk continues to invest in their  transformation, expands and grows profitably.
Maersk’s annual report is the $4.5bn to $5.5bn the Danish conglomerate has set aside for acquisitions in 2021 and 2022. Likely acquisitions for the self-styled global integrator of container logistics with a focus on warehousing and distribution, air freight as well as customs services.
