LOT Polish Airlines restarting direct Budapest-New York flight from June 2022

LOT Polish Airlines announced the re-launch of its direct flights between Budapest and New York. The route has been suspended due to the restrictions imposed during the first wave of the pandemic but will be accessible again as of June 2022. It will operate three times a week thanks to Boeing 787, seasonally from June until the end of September.

Michał Fijoł, chief commercial officer for LOT Polish Airlines commented: “Despite the difficult times we are facing, LOT looks for every opportunity to grow. Resuming non-stop service from Budapest to New York, we underline our commitment to the Hungarian market, and we believe in its perspectives. We look forward to welcoming our Hungarian guests onboard our comfortable Dreamliners again. Thank you for being with us before the pandemic and welcome back under our wings!”

Budapest Airport and LOT will do everything possible to safeguard the health of passengers and staff. Information on safety regulations on board is available here. For current conditions of entry into the USA, please visit the Consular Service website.
