DACHSER invests in construction in Kladno

DACHSER Czech Republic will build a new transshipment warehouse and administrative premises at its main branch in Kladno. With another hall measuring 4,000 m2, which will expand the current logistics center, the largest DACHSER terminal for collection service shipments in the Czech Republic will be created.

The two-story administrative building will offer 1,340 m² of modern offices and facilities. The new construction will be environmentally friendly. Construction will begin in July 2023 and its completion is expected in mid-2024. DACHSER plans to invest 12.6 million euros here. The logistics center DACHSER Kladno offers a total of 18,500 m² of warehouse space with 92 loading gates and almost 4 administrative spaces of 500 m² after construction. Upon completion, the transshipment warehouse will have 8,000 m² and will be equipped with a total of 76 loading gates, the external logistics areas are also being monitored.

Construction in the so-called The “DACHSER standard”, which is the same for all its own buildings throughout Europe, will also be sustainable – photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof of the new building, which provide electricity that can be used for the operation of the site, charging handling equipment or recharging stations for trucks and personal company vehicles, and a number of other elements for protection and water technology. In addition to the new logistics areas, a new administrative building will also be built at the DACHSER Kladno branch. The architects designed it as a two-story building located at a height of four meters above the floor of the new warehouse building. The Kladno branch will provide modern offices and facilities for warehouse workers on an area of 1,340 m². In parallel with the new construction, the current administrative premises will also be completely redesigned so that they respond to the latest trends and meet the needs of various logistics professions.
