| 1. What are the main disrupters for Freight Forwarding development? The freight and logistics business are in a transformation mode, and it is the digital entrants who will be transforming it. Digital capabilities are critical to meet the challenge of digital disruption successfully. Freight Forwarding Companies that will continue to do what they’ve been doing will begin to lose value. Digital capabilities are critical, and forwarding companies need to consider and renew their core capabilities, or else they will lose relevance. 2. Tell us about key areas in Logistics/Supply chain where Freight Forwarding can improve the most and why? The most important thing will be to become an execution specialist. Become an integrated service provider, a one-stop-shop in the field of Logistics and Supply chain. A customer demanding accurate information is the new norm, and providing completely digital services will facilitate this in a big way. 3. What is your opinion about positioning WOF EXPO in the Central and Eastern Europe region? There seem to be huge opportunities as India and countries in Eastern and Central Europe are looking to achieve a $ 10 Trillion economic partnership in areas like artificial intelligence, IT, IT-enabled services, urban infrastructure, clean technology and pharmaceuticals. So I feel that it is a perfect setting and a good opportunity to better understand and explore new opportunities. |
