| At the beginning of June 2023, the Częstochowa depot of Raben Logistics Polska moved to a new facility in the Hillwood Polska logistics centre close to the national road 91 running from the north to the south of Poland, occupying 5,100 m2 of warehouse and office space. |
| A bespoke warehouse equipped with 37 loading ramps to handle trucks, as well as extensive maneuvering yards and outdoor areas exclusively for Raben’s use, make running operations really comfortable. “Due to the dynamic growth of our depot, we are very pleased to have moved to the new facility in Częstochowa. I am convinced that thanks to the modern warehouse, we will be able to meet the needs of our customers even better, and our employees will enjoy more space and innovative solutions” – said Artur Borkowski, Częstochowa depot manager of Raben Logistics Polska. Not only did the move go very smoothly, but a month after the start of operations from the new location, new energy can also be seen in the Częstochowa team, which is even more committed to transporting and handling services for the company’s customers. The new warehouse allows for the efficient handling of at least 4,400 pallets per day. It is a modern facility that meets the high standards not only of Raben, but also of the company’s customers. Among other things, it uses skylights for daylight which also add 6% additional brightness, full LED lighting controlled by motion sensors, or lithium-ion forklifts, which have the advantage of short battery charging times. As a result, they are almost always ready for action. They increase productivity and allow better handling capacity in the warehouse. The facility’s urban location is also a significant advantage, as is its large car park with more than 80 spaces for cars and 40 for trucks. |
