The new opening will be a further step in reinforcing its presence on the Northern countries. Through a complete service offering, which combine road, rail and ferry means of transport, the local presence in Lithuania will generate new corridor opportunities for current customers and industries interested in these areas of business. In its strategy, the company has set eyes on becoming the primary transport operator for transporting goods between Central Europe, the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea by using its existing intermodal network. Matteo Codognotto, Supply Chain Director of Codognotto Italy S.p.A, celebrated the new opening by saying: “The new branch in Lithuania is part of Codognotto plan to extend the company offering by connecting existing road and intermodal services in the Baltic Markets.
