2020 the steepest annual drop in aviation history: IATA
| A full-year global passenger traffic results of The International Air Transport Association (IATA) for 2020 showed that demand (revenue passenger kilometers or RPKs) fell by a massive 65.9% compared to a 2019 – by far the steepest drop in aviation history. Furthermore, bookings keep falling strongly since late December. Not to mention, bookings for future travel made in January 2021 were down 70% compared to a year-ago.
